Love watching zombie movies? Do you love it so much that you also love killing them? If you have played almost all of the zombie games there is, I’m pretty sure you’re going to love killing zombies in this sequel to Red Dead Redemption, the Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. You’ll be killing them, wild, wild west style!
Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is a game of terminating zombies in the western era, with John Marston as the playable character. The prequel Red Dead Redemption is about a former outlaw John Marston, and his quest on looking for his former gang members, while his son and wife is being taken hostage by the government in exchange for his bounty hunter services.
Undead Nightmare, on the other hand, tells about John Marston having a peaceful night with his family at their ranch when all of a sudden, all regular people become zombies, flesh-eating monsters. It is up to John to put a stop to this mini-apocalypse in their town.
This game is like any zombie game that you have played before, where you have to be alert and kill the zombies, no matter who they are. Players have to remember the simple but important rules in zombie killing:
Always aim for the head (if you shoot the brain, that will stop them from walking and eating humans)
Stay away from hordes even if you are brave enough to face them all, because one way or another, you are going to die.
Zombies cannot climb to high places, so you have a better chance of survival in high places
Always BE ALERT!
There are also new weapons such as holy water, undead bait, and some ammo that you can use on the killing zombie spree. The good thing about this game is you can put out all your anger in here and let out all the stress that you have been experiencing in real life. This is actually the goal in zombie games, and because of the fact that zombies are evil.
The Undead Nightmare is available in Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and was released last October 26, 2010. The price for this game is at $29.99 and can avail it on any game stores like at Amazon.com.
