Along with the release of the first iPhone comes the same trite expression (*cough, jailbreak) with every starving users who are so malnutritioned and deprived – screaming freedom for their iDevice. Jailbreaking an iPhone / iPod Touch has been done on a heartbeat and became synonymous with every dude you got yourself into an iConversation.. throwing you this question, “Have you JailBreak your phone?”  Fortuitously, up to this date, the Apple kingdom has not yet dropped the ban-hammer for users who are doing this ‘deed’. That being said, with the release of the iPad – iPhone hackers, had found a way (as usual) to break it. And yep, this time, they’re howdy fast!

The first visible jailbreak to the iPad came from MuscleNerd – a hero when it comes to the iphone community – provided some screenshots of what it appears to be a glitch to slide your way into the root access of the iPad — which was also visible on the iPhone OS 3.1.3 and 3.2. Mister MN calls it the ‘spirit’ jailbreak and it’ll be available soon for us mortal-users.

Now, here’s the latest news. It appears, geohot manage to provide us some proof of — this time — a fully jailbroken ipad via Blackra1n. As you can see from the screenshot, it already has the cydia app.. It was said that a hacker name ‘comex’ was the one who manage to put all the good stuff there.
