new cool best high technology gadgets gift OCZ Liquid Cooled RAM

OCZ Technology Group announced what its billing as the world’s fastest RAM. The PC2-9600 DDR2 sticks are each guaranteed to run at 1,200 MHz without issue, making them probably the fastest sticks of memory on the market.

OCZ is known for making hardware for people who want high performance out of their PCs, specifically gamers, and the way it designs RAM proves that claim. Some models have LED lights on them that indicate how hard the RAM is working, and others have colored heat sinks. The new OCZ FlexXLC (Xtreme Liquid Convention) sports two methods for cooling each of the 1GB dual-channel RAM chips that will come in the retail package.

The heat sink and fins are made of a copper/aluminum alloy that the manufacturer claims effectively dissipates heat, and the two ports on each end of the chip are for an optional liquid injection system of either water or a copper fluid that will also provide additional heat control. Still, don’t pull out your credit card just yet. The modules aren’t available, and when they are, they’ll only be available in 2GB (2x 1GB sticks) kits, covered by lifetime warranty. Given that the sticks are only 1GB each, these are definitely aimed at desktop users and gamers–meaning they will likely be expensive, to say the least. [Via NewLaunches ]
