Sony has added three new desktop PC’s to its Vaio lineup.

First up is the Vaio JS series, which features a 20.1 inch XBRITE ECO LCD display, which is designed to curb the energy consumption of the PC and also make it quite.

There is also HDMI, and it can display content at up to 1080p, there is also built in WiFi, a wireless keyboard and touchpad and an integrated power supply so the unit can easily be mounted on the wall.

The Sony Vaio LV series will go on sale for around $1,600.

Finally the last addition to the Vaio lineup is the Vaio RT High Definition Studio, which is designed to be a one stop shop for all your high definition video editing.

The RT series features a 25.5 inch XBRITE FullHD display, and a built in Blu-ray optical drive which enables you to play, record and edit high definition video in 1080p.

As well as built in dual TV tuners, the RT features HDMI in and out, so that you can connect HD devices to your RT or connect the RT to another HD display allowing you to have multiple displays.

The RT Series is powered by an Intel Core2 Quad processors, and comes with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of hard drive storage.

It also features a high speed eSATA port and a compact flash slot, and it runs Vista Ultimate.

The Sony Vaio RT series is expected to retail for around $3,300, and all of the above new models will be available to buy online and from retailers in October.
