The hoverwing functions like those on a normal hovercraft, although when you hit the maximum speed of 60mph, its wings will be be extended further for it to take flight. Powered by a 1.8 liter Subaru engine, it sports removable wings and has a maximum flight weight capacity of 160kg, so we’re guessing there isn’t any room for on-board snacks. You won’t fall very far from the sky though, since it has a maximum flying height of around 3 meters.

In New Zealand, flying a hovercraft doesn’t need a pilots license, since it is basically a boat, however, it is advisable that you will still be cautious on the legal procedures of flying such a kind of machine in the country where you live.

According to little research done by CrunchGear, the hovercraft is now being auction at USD26,500.-.
