Lexmark is about to change the way your view a printer…literally. Not only is their new printer Genesis the first all-in-one upright standing printer, but it is also unique in the fact that it has a 10 –megapixel camera for scanning.

The imaging sensor enables it to transfer a page from “document to digital” in seconds. So instead of using traditional flatbed scanning technology, it uses the digital camera sensor to enable ultra quick “scans” of photos and documents.

It can capture the entire frame almost instantly and can convert the scan to a full image in as little as three seconds.

If this wasn’t enough new features already, the Genesis also uses a rather uncommon 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, which provides a much clearer way of previewing prints and scans.

There are also multiple of new internet features, like, Evernote,, TripIt, Twitter and Facebook. Lexmark also has a service of its own to print photos from Twitter links and (in November) Facebook galleries.

The Lexmark Genesis will launch next year and retail for $399. is a gadgets review with pictures, graphics, photographs, images, video recordings, and so on blog with users’ comments.
