Remember back in the day when comic book had those silly ads for X-ray glasses? Unfortunately they were crap and I couldn’t see-through my neighbours dress.
Enter Jeri Ellsworth, she has come up with a DIY TSA-like scanner, that apparently helps you fulfill the lifelong dream of being able to see through women’s clothing.
The project uses a hand scanner, as well as multiple feed horns from satellite dishes; one is reversed to transmit, and the others are left as receivers, allowing the radar to see objects at a centimetre level instead of a millimetre level.
By reversing the operation of some key components, the modified LNB three horn array can penetrate a layer of sheetrock to show what’s underneath. Don’t expect the resolution to be as clear as the TSA Backscatter, but the fact that it works, is a great feat.
Ellsworth explains how it is done in the video bellow…Now if she can only make it a bit smaller and inconspicuous, this would be a great thing to bring to a party; unless everyone was wearing x-ray proof underwear.
