ArduIMU Quascopter is a DIY Arduino helicopter using four infrared sensor and one ultra sonic sensor to let the helicopter fly without worries of letting it bumping to walls or other moving objects.


The ArduIMU Quascopter is so sensitive to moving objects that two guys are using tennis rackets to move the helicopter from left to right. Each of the fixed infrared sensors have a range of about 1.5m, ideal for indoors playing as it won’t bump into any visible obstacles.
